The top grand pianos of the master series are produced
completely manually and individually by our most experienced
employees. It takes approximately nine months to produce
such an instrument. We carefully select of all materials
used. These grand pianos which are intended for concert
halls and professional use are equipped with classical
action as standard, or according to the customers wish with
magnetically balanced action, or possibly with magnetically
accelerated action. Each master instrument is tried and
tested before it is handed over to the customer by our
experienced piano players who use there vast knowledge to
tune the instrument to perfection.
The grand pianos of standard series are made in small
series. This fact allows us to preserve a favourable
proportion of quality and price, producing a varied scale of
finishes and surface treatments. These grand pianos are
exceptional not only by their sound characteristics, but
they also allow a wide selection of finish according to the
interior where they will be placed and according to the
customer´s wishes. Those instruments can be also equipped
with magnetically balanced action or magnetically
accelerated action.
Master Series Grand Piano
Only Petrof's most experienced employees are entrusted to hand-craft the flagship pianos of the Master Series. Each and every piano has meticulous attention to detail and it takes approximately nine months to make an instrument. Petrof carefully selects all materials for the instruments, which are intended for concert halls and professional use. They are equipped with classical action as standard, but may at a client's request be fitted with magnetically balanced action (MBA), or Petrof's patented magnetically accelerated action (MAA). Each master instrument is tried and tested before it is handed over to the customer by our experienced piano players who use there vast knowledge to tune the instrument to perfection.
There are three models in the master series.
The P 284 Mistral concert grand piano is an improved, masterfully built instrument for professional use in concert halls.
Thanks to its sound potential, it is suitable for the interpretation of musically demanding pieces. It has the characteristic Petrof grand piano sound and an extremely beautiful appearance.
The P 237 Monsoon concert grand piano is suitable for music halls, recording studios, but also demanding individual players. It produces a romantic sound and can be beautiful accessory within the home or prestigious hotel.
The P 210 Pasat grand piano is a novelty in the master series. Its romantic, clear and melodious tone ranks it among the favourites of music expositions. Its sound parameters are able to splendidly amplify the feeling of the music. Its dimensions make it ideal for chamber halls, studios and the home.
The grand pianos of the standard series are made to suit users who may need a smaller instrument. Petrof has been able to strike a balance between quality and price with these exceptional grand pianos, as they not only have outstanding sound characteristics, but also offer a wide selection of finishes which means they can be tailored to suit the interior where they will be placed.
All pianos in the Standard Series produce the characteristic Petrof sound. The instruments can be also equipped with magnetically balanced action
(MBA) or Magnetically Accelerated Action (MAA).
The P 173 Breeze is an improved instrument of the new generation of Petrof grand pianos. Even though this piano is middle sized, Petrof has used the most advanced structural elements of great concert instruments and selected materials of the best quality. This grand piano, and its compatriot the P IV, are intended for home use or education and training purposes. They can be beautiful accessories in a home and their typical romantic tones will delight all ambitious pianists.
The P159 Bora is ideal for hobby players and professional pianists who wish to practice at home. It is the smallest instrument of the new generation of Petrof grand pianos, but does not lack the characteristic romantic tone of other grand pianos in the series. Even though this piano is shorter, Petrof has again used advanced structural elements and the best quality materials.
The grand pianos in the Art Collection series are renown for their elegant style. All models have the unmistakable tone and characteristic of a Petrof grand piano, combined with an individual flair that set them apart. The Art Collection includes the magnificent P IV Rococo – a piano with a White Matte finish and stunning decorative elements.
The PIII grand piano has the greatest sound potential of all the instrument in the standard series. It is intended to be used by demanding individual pianists, higher music schools, and for concerts in smaller halls and clubs. It produces the characteristic PETROF sound.
